Structure of the programme


The Astronomy and Instrumentation programme consists of two parts: advanced courses in general astronomy and  instrumentation, as well as two research projects. All courses are taught in English. The structure of the programme (with a total study load of 120 EC) is as follows:

Courses 60 EC  Research Projects 60 EC
Instrumentation (Year 1&2) 30 EC Minor Research Project in Astronomy (Year 1) 30 EC
Astronomy (Year 1&2) 30 EC Major Research Project in Instrumentation (Year 2) 30 EC
